Week 2: We partnered with our friends at YouthReach International providing funding to help relocate 35 orphaned children at Father’s House Children’s Shelter in Pokrovsk (Eastern Ukraine) to Germany. They are now safe and in the care of the Rotary Clubs of Germany.

Week 3: We learned that rescue workers, EMTs, Medics, and emergency field clinics were in dire need of tourniquets. We partnered with our young friend Tanya, a college student from Dnipro, who introduced us to her cousin Larysa. Larysa had decided to research a way to get NATO grade tourniquets from Europe, namely Romania and Spain for about $12 each. We hosted a campaign to help them purchase them and raised $850. So far we’ve purchased over 70 tourniquets.

Week 4-5: We partnered with Yuriy Gordiyenko (International Academy of Human Rights Protection) and Arthur Kazaryan (World Wide Youth Clubs of Ukraine) to evacuate 30+ orphans who were sheltering in basements in the Kharkiv region; an area that was subject to some of the heaviest shelling. We helped to relocate these kids and teens. Twelve3One was recognized by IAHR for its contribution to helping rescue these kids. We hope you will support more evacuation trips like this one and others that we've helped finance.
