Mariia Yermachenkova

Aalen, Germany

Mariia Yermachenkova joined our ministry in March 2023. She is a one-person-dynamo. Her energy, smile, and laughter are contagious.

She moved to Aalen, Germany, from Feodosia, Crimea in 2022. Once settled, she began serving in the community.

Mariia serves in several ministries and projects such as the Esther Organization ministering to prostitutes, and the Brand Mobil group handing out hot beverages at the local train station. She is a master at mobilizing people and finding resources to help collect goods and send parcels of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Right from the start these facts should tell you a lot about her heart for serving others.

When Mariia asked to join Twelve3One she said,

"I don’t know what I can do…I just want to be an instrument in his hands and let him work through me."

She works part-time but much of her time is spent with friends, at church, bible study, and learning the German language.

There's one other thing that speaks volumes about her life of sacrifice. Last year, Mariia obeyed the Father’s calling question; “whom shall I send?”. Just like Isaiah, she answered Him saying, "Here I am, Lord! Send Me!"

She expressed a keen desire to go to Ukraine to see for herself the opportunities for the ministry to which God has called her and to encourage others along the way. She said,

"I wanted to go because I know for sure that there is more that I can do for people."

Well-known pastor and evangelist Rick Correlli, while praying over Mariia and me in Poland, prophesied that she would "share the Gospel all over the world". Perhaps she is now taking her first steps toward her ministry and I hope she lets me tag along. What a ride that would be!

Mariia told me, "God has blessed me with his spiritual gifts and I want to use these gifts to spread his kingdom on the earth. Our world needs his love and his light."

So please pray for Mariia about these things:

  • “eyes to see” to see the opportunities the Lord places in her path.

  • wisdom and discernment from the Holy Spirit and that God protects and blesses her throughout her journey.

  • that God provides for her every need.

Jesus sent His disciples out and instructed them not to take even an extra cloak but only a staff and sandals on their feet. John, the disciple “whom Jesus loved” says this:

“You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God. For they have gone out for the sake of the name... Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.” ~ 3 John 3:6-8
