God is weird sometimes...

Here at Twelve3One, we often talk about how God moves through our ministry and how good He is. Jokingly, we sometimes say, “God is so weird!” like we’re so surprised by how quickly, completely, and overwhelmingly He responds. But you know what? It’s not “weird” that he responds or the way He responds, to the degree of even how quickly He responds. But rather, it seems weird because my expectations weren’t big enough. I shouldn’t be surprised at all. I should come to the Lord with anticipation and expectation. Jesus even says so.
“But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” (John 15:7 NLT)
Jesus also said to his disciples,
“You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.” (Matt. 21:22 NLT)
